Walking in Annecy

Walking in Annecy is a unforgetable experience, the stunning terrain of the alps in france will amaze you and blow you away with their beauty, as well there are alpine forests to enjoy. In summertime the lake water tempearture reaches 23 degrees. There are a number of summits to walk around the lake on the east banks there is Mont du Veyrier, Dents de Lanfon and La Tournette which the highest at 2351m. The Tournette is a mountain in the Bornes Massif in Haute-Savoie, France. It is the highest of the mountains surrounding Lake Annecy and has a prominence of 2351m, qualifying it as an Ultra. On the way up or down prbably better eat at the famous Chalet du l’aulpe which is a working maontain farm. Walking in Annecy and its alps is a true alpine experience. At high altitude walks  around Annecy you might even have a view of the famous Mont Blanc in the distance. Waliking in Annecy doesn’t have to beup hill. For those looking for a gentle stroll the lakeside footpaths and trails won’t literally take your breath away so going walking in Annecy is accessible to all ages.
