Le Ponnay Wood House

Le Ponnay Wood House is beautiful contemporary chalet set amidst alpine mountains over looking the lake. It is less than 10 minutes by car to the lakeside village of Talloires. This Charming bright house with large living areas and a magnificent views of Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains. Le Ponnay Wood House offers the perfect house with modern amenities to enjoy a wonderful family holiday on lake Annecy. Le Ponnay Wood House has a lovely south facing terrace leading from the living room an ideal place for eating meals al fresco and enjoying the views.  For keen cyclists we can arrange cycle hire which can be delivered to the house or picked up in Talloires.  The house can accommodate up to 10 people although it is comfortable for 8.  The house layout is as folllows;

The Ground floor: 1 large living / dining room with 2 beds; 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bathroom and 1 wc.

The 1st floor: 1 large living room / lounge, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 dining room, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 private bathroom, 1 wc.

The 2nd floor: 1 tv lounge, 2 bedrooms with 4 separate beds, 1 bathroom and 1 wc.

1 private garden.

If you would like to try out a parapente flight Le Ponnay Wood House is the perfect base since the take off point is just above the house and the landing field is in the flat meadows 5 minutes drive down the hill. There are numerous restaurants within a short drive or cycle ride both in Talloires, Menthon Saint Bernard and the surrounding small hamlets of Montmin and Angon.  The town of Annecy is 14km away or about 30 minutes drive.  You can also take a ferry boat trip to Annecy from the port in Talloires. During summer these boat trips operate throughout the day.
