A smiling, friendly village at the foot of the mountains. Doussard is called the source of the lake as the greater part of the waters feeding Lake Annecy come from its rivers. Its lake-shore offers all the charms of sport and nature. A nature reserve protects its flora and fauna which include a vast number of reed beds. Also includes the Beauvivier Tower (12th century).
