On the way up or down prbably better eat at the famous Chalet du l’aulpe which is a working maontain farm. Walking in Annecy and its alps is a true alpine experience. At high altitude walks  around Annecy you might even have a view of the famous Mont Blanc in the distance. Waliking in Annecy doesn’t have to beup hill.
